The Men’s World Cup is a sports event usually held every 4 years where teams of men from around the world join in a set location to have a football tournament.

This year is a lot of firsts for the tournament. Being the first World Cup in the Middle East(the location is the small country of Qatar), the first world cup to be played in winter(it was postponed because Qatar summers are very, very hot) and being the first World Cup to have female referees.

The last World Cup was in 2018 with Russia as the host country and the World Cup prior to that was in 2014 with Brazil as the host. – C
